Salesforce Disconnect Behavior

What happens if you disconnect Salesforce?​

When you click Remove Connection, RevOps prompts you to choose disconnect behavior.

Immediate effect of disconnecting​

  • Existing completed/signed deals are not affected.
  • New or edited deals can no longer pull from or push to Salesforce until reconnect.

Disconnect options​

You must choose one:

  1. I plan on reconnecting to the same account
    • Disconnects Salesforce but retains mappings and variables.
  2. I will be switching to a different account or CRM tool
    • Disconnects Salesforce and removes mappings and variables.

Reconnect guidance​

If reconnecting to the same Salesforce account, choose the option that preserves settings to minimize reconfiguration.

If moving to a different Salesforce account (or a different CRM), choose the reset option to avoid carrying forward incompatible mappings.
