Terms
Agreement terms are the legal conditions and requirements of your deal. These terms describe the contractual partnership that your business and your customer are agreeing to. The most common agreement terms include the length of the contract, the billing and payment terms as well as the governing terms and conditions. With RevOps Terms, you can create blocks or sections of agreement terms for your deal, or have a Term represent an entire agreement for instance MNDA. These Term blocks allow you to provide pre-approved legal language in addition to customizable legal language so that your team has the flexibility to customize the agreement just right for their customer. By using Terms, your business is able to:
- Create pre-approved legal language
- Offer dynamically populated and customizable legal language
- Require the inclusion of legal language
- Collect key customer information
Types of Terms
RevOps offers two types of terms: Built-In Terms and Custom Terms
Built-in Terms
Built-in terms are common agreement terms with built-in functionality to help improve the quote-to-cash process. RevOps has created these terms in your account to help get you started creating deals immediately. These terms may also have restrictions to maintain the built-in functionality of the term. However, you may customize the term label and language to match your company's approved legal language. More Information While built-in terms may not be removed from your account, they may be disabled, if the term is not relevant or necessary for your business. The agreement language used on deals may differ depending on the type of product or service your business offers.
