Sandbox Testing

We recommend that you connect your RevOps Sandbox to a Chargebee Sandbox. Live and Sandbox configurations are managed separately in both RevOps and Chargebee. Your API keys, webhook URLs, and webhook passwords will be unique per environment.

Test Cards​

When connected to a Chargebee sandbox, you are able to use a variety of test credit cards to test different flows. The available cards vary based on gateway.

You are not able to use real credit cards in test mode.

Live Testing

If you are testing in live mode with real credit card numbers, you will be charged transaction fees by Chargebee and your payment gateway.

These fees are often non-refundable. Please contact support for Chargebee or your payment gateway to understand the associated charges as RevOps does not control these fees.

If you wish to run a test in live mode, we recommend greatly reducing the total contract value. Since most transaction fees are percentage based, this will reduce the cost of the test.

Unless otherwise communicated by Chargebee or your payment gateway, test cards are free to use and do not have any associated transaction fees.

Test Bank Accounts​

Stripe Financial Connections will automatically connect you to a variety of test banks accounts. The account name describes the associated behavior.
