Docusign
RevOps offers the ability to connect to your own Docusign account to process eSignature collection.
For more information on the available signature platforms, review the managing signature type documentation.
Connection Requirements
RevOps can connect to any Docusign plan that has access to their standard eSignature product. Real Estate plans are not supported.
- Your account must have a sufficient envelope allotment for your sending volume.
RevOps will utilize one connected Docusign account for all RevOps users. Please contact Docusign Sales for information regarding the sending limit on your account, associated overage rates, and any custom sending limits.
- Once connected, your connected account cannot be changed.
- The Docusign account must remain active during the entirety of your RevOps subscription.
We recommended using a service account such as docusign@example.com
or revops@example.com
over a personal account. This will enable your account to continue operating regardless of personnel changes.
Managing Signatures
When using Docusign via RevOps, all envelope operations must be managed by RevOps. If changes are manually made by a user in Docusign to a RevOps managed envelope, this may result in users being unable to complete signature. Any changes made may also be reset without notice by the RevOps integration.
Using a service account helps reduce the risk of accidental edits.
Connecting to Docusign
Once you have read the information above, visit Settings > Integrations > Docusign and select Connect Docusign.
You will then be given the ability to log in to your Docusign account and grant access to the integration.
Configuring Templates
Once connected, you will need to set your templates to use Docusign as their signature platform. For more information, review the managing signature type documentation.
Docusign must first be connected before a template can be set to use Docusign.
